1,126,348. Conveying lumps of dough. K. KEMPER. 25 Oct., 1965 [31 May, 1965], No. 45142/65. Heading B8A. A lump of dough e from a kneading machine d is received on endless conveyer belt b and is conveyed thereby to operate switch jl. This stops the motor of the conveyer belt and positions the dough e as shown. Cam f2 co-operates with follower f3 carried on bellcrank lever f which is pivoted at f1 and carries rollers c1 and c4 of belt b. The movement of f2 is governed by the movement of the receiving pockets h so that cam f2 at the right moment causes the lever f to pivot leftwards about pivot f1 and thus effectively to displace belt b leftwards to allow the lump e to fall down the gap thus opened up and to pass through shoot i into a pocket h which is waiting for it. |
