PURPOSE:To speed up a diagnosis of the information processing unit by diagnosing all subunits in the information processing unit simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:When a predetermined subunit address is supplied to the information processing unit, a control circuit 12 supplies a shift clock to all subunits 21 and 22 at the same time. A comparator 14 compares shift-out data from all the subunits 21 and 22. An error detecting circuit 15 informs an external diagnostic device of an error when a mask signal on a mask information bus 36 is OFF and the comparison result of the comparator 14 indicates discrepancy. |
