PURPOSE:To enable to widen the selection range of materials for the 1st and 2nd photoconductive layers and reproduce good two-color images by providing an intermediate layer consisting of the light coherent films laminated alternately with two or more kinds of different inorg. dielectrics. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd photoconductive layer 14 having sensitivity to partial colored light of a visible light region and allowing the transmission of the other colored light, an intermediate layer 13, and the 1st photoconductive layer 12 having sensitivity to at least the colored light transmitted through the 2nd photoconductive layer 14 are laminated on a conductive substrate 11, whereby a composite photoreceptor 1 for electrophotography is produced. Here, the intermediate layer 13 is constituted of the light coherent films alternately laminated with thin films of two kinds of inorg. dielectrics (e.g.; ZnS, CeO2, Al2O3, etc.) usually to about 3-30 layers, and is used as a filter layer. Therefore, the 1st photoconductive layer 12 may be panchromatic and since the spectral characteristics of the intermediate layer 13 is controlled as desired, the selection range for the materials of the 2nd conductive layer 14 is windened. |
