PURPOSE:To provide a field coil fabricating apparatus having simple forming structure in which load can be lowered at the time of formation. CONSTITUTION:A rotary table 24 and a winding rod table 56 are rotated integrally and a conductor is guided by six winding rods 59a-59f and wound. Six forming arrow units 25a-25f are supported movably in the radial direction of the rotary table 24 between adjacent winding rods 59a-59f. A groove cam type moving mechanism reciprocates each forming arrow unit 25a-25f in the radial direction of the rotary table 24, with a predetermined phase shift, for each rotation of the rotary table 24 thus pushing the conductor, stretched between the winding rods 59a-59f, toward the center of the rotary table 24 and forming a coil. |
