PURPOSE: To provide a hay mower which has a chassis composed of a central section and the plural number of side face sections mutually connected by indirect shafts, and the respective side face sections of which hold rotors to be rotationally driven at the time of working and are folded at a transporting position by a hydraulic jack. CONSTITUTION: Three side face sections 5-10 composed of cases 15 and 19 provided with pipes 18 and rotors 13 are arranged on both the sides of a central section 4, hydraulic jacks 29 and 30 are directly extended from the central section 4 to the 3rd side face sections 9 and 10 on both the sides, the 1st side face section 5 and 6 and the 2nd side face section 7 and 8 are turned upward and the 3rd side face sections 9 and 10 are turned downward at the transporting position. Working width is enlarged, structure is simplified, raggedness on the ground can be completely followed during work, and the dimension in case of transporting and housing can be remarkably reduced.
