THERMAL TRANSFER DYE DONATING MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp color image superior in fastness to light by incorporating a pyrazoloazole azomathine dye having a specific atom group in a dye donating layer on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A pyrazoloazole azomathine dye containing at least one of groups having the structure of an ultraviolet absorber shown by a general formula I or II in a molecular is incorporated in a dye donating layer. In the formula, R<11>-R<19> independently represent hydrogen atom or nonmetallic substituent. With the use of the dye, a fastness to light is remarkably improved in comparison with the pyrazoloazole azomathine dye when the ultraviolet absorber is added to an image receiving layer.
