PURPOSE: To obtain a needle-punched nonwoven web having surface sufficiently free from texture by a simple means. CONSTITUTION: In this apparatus for needle punching a nonwoven web comprising at least one needle board having a great number of needles, a backing member faced to the needle board and a stripping piece which is arranged between the backing member and the needle board and optionally has a perforate plate for needle penetration like the backing member and having common through holes in a perforated plate of the stripping piece and in the perforated plate of the backing member, in each group, corresponding to needle collected in groups, the needles 2 held by different needle board holes are mutually shifted in the crosswise direction and arranged at least in one longitudinal row in the direction of travel 6 of the nonwoven web. |
