PURPOSE: To obtain a door-operating device that is inexpensive, does not require periodical lubrication, can be assembled easily, and is in particular suited for a garage door. CONSTITUTION: A pulley means 46 and a drive wheel are positioned at one end and the other end of a rail means 30, and a plastic belt 84 is wound around them. A trolley 36 that is connected to a door 26 is connected to the plastic belt 34 by a connecting tool.
