摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the expression of a human blood platelet activating factor(PAF) receptor by transforming a microorganism with a vector containing a gene coding the PAF receptor having a specific sequence. CONSTITUTION:A gene (cDNA) coding the PAF receptor having an amino acid sequence of the formula (342 amino acids) and consisting of the total 1029 base pairs of the base number 1 to the base number 1029 is obtained from a cDNA library originated from human leukocyte by the utilization of the PAF receptor gene of a guinea pig. The cDNA is inserted into a plasmid, a phage, etc., to form a vector. The vector is introduced into a microorganism to form a transformed cell. The transformed cell is cultured to obtain an agonist or an antagonist against the PAF. If necessary, the cDNA is applied to the determination of the PAF.</p>
