<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently and precisely manage an information program by preserving the information program on a video tape not by a conventional tape cassette housing unit that the pawl part of the back surface of the tape cassette housing is bent but by an information program unit. CONSTITUTION:When the information program which should be preserved is recorded on the video tape 1, a CTL signal whose pulse width is modulated by a pulse width modulation circuit 12 is recorded by a CTL head 6 at least at the starting time and the finishing time of the recording thereof. Besides, when the new information program is recorded on the tape 1, the CTL signal whose pulse width is modulated is reproduced by a recording section reproducing head 7 while the information program is recorded. Besides, the new recording is interrupted in a section that the signal is reproduced and the video tape is set to be under the state of fast-forwarding. Then, the recording is continuously started after the finish of the above mentioned section.</p> |
