PURPOSE:To make it possible to strongly fix a ceramic sintered body to a mold main body by a method wherein the ceramic sintered body, which forms a part of a cavity, is fixed to the mold main body by pinching its outer peripheral part between a fixing frame and the mold main body. CONSTITUTION:A movable side mold 2 consists of a metallic movable side mold main body 2b and a ceramic sintered body 6, which is fixed to the back plate 2c of the movable side mold main body 2b with a fixing frame 12. In the fixing frame 12, an inward extending engaging flange part 12b is provided on one end edge side of an annular side wall part 12a, while on the other end edge side of which a fixing flange part 12c extending outward from the annular side wall part is provided. As a result, the shape of the section of the fixing frame is an almost crank-shaped section. The front surface of the engaging flanged part 12b is made to be flush with that of the ceramic sintered body 6. The fixing flange part 12c is brought into a state fitted to a groove 2d provided on the back plate 2c and fixed to the back plate 2c by means of bolts or the like. The ceramic sintered body 6 is fixed to the movable side mold main body 2b by means of the fixing frame 12, while being held by the main body 2b. |
