PURPOSE: To detect a chemical component of an inter-tissue liquid by extraction of a small quantity of the inter-tissue liquid by being stuck to the skin of a human being or an animal. CONSTITUTION: A sensor 10 has a porous material-made base board 16 to pass an inter-tissue liquid and plural electrodes 13A and 13B, and the respective electrodes have two side surfaces 20 and 22, and its one side surface 20 is installed on the base board 16, and the other side surface 22 is arranged in an almost opposed position to one side surface 20, and the respective electrodes are composed of a porous material to pass the inter-tissue liquid through the two side surfaces 20 and 22. In the sensor, a chemical substance layer 24 is contacted with the side surface 22, and the chemical substance layer contains a chemical substance to react with a single component of the inter-tissue liquid, and the chemical substance is mixed in a medium agent. The respective electrodes generate electric signals in response to reaction of a single component of the inter-tissue liquid and the chemical substance layer. |
