<p>The mechanism automatically removes sacks or similar items one by one from a stack, particularly for delivery to a printing machine. It positions the stack, separates the topmost sack, and holds the rest of the stack in place while this sack is transported away. The separating mechanism (B) stretches, lifts and lowers the topmost sack, typically having an arm with grip and movable up and down. There can be two opposite grips on the arm and with cylinders turning in opposite directions, so as to grip, stretch, lift and deposit the sack.</p> |
