<p>PURPOSE:To make a self-adhesive raw rubber sheet adhere efficiently. CONSTITUTION:A connecting device is for connecting edges 4a and 4b facing each other of a raw rubber sheet 4 by using a powered grab installation tool 6 provided with a pressure component 11 and a pressure resistance plate 36 in a manner of giving the given thrust for grabbing the sheet material 4 with the given pressure and joining the edges 4a and 4b of the sheet 4 together. The grab installation tool 6 is moved back and forth along the given route fixed by a guide 85 designed to be in parallel with the edges 4a and 4b of the sheet 4 and move close to and away from the actuating position, and the pressure resistance plate 36 and the edges 4a and 4b of the sheet 4 are on the same plane level substantially, and further lifting means 41-64 and 41-65 are actuated together with the sheet 4 to lift up respectively 4a and 4b on a pressure resistance plate 35 and make the edges combined with the grab installation tool 6.</p> |
