PURPOSE:To provide a coating composition for sliding parts, having good nontackiness of a fluorine-based polymer in the surface layer, excellent in low friction properties and abrasion resistance, having >=300 deg.C heat resistance and simultaneously improved in toughness and impact resistance. CONSTITUTION:A coating composition for sliding parts is composed of 100 pts.wt. polyphenylene sulfide resin, 20-100 pts.wt. one or more thermosetting resins selected from the group consisting of phenolic resins, epoxy resins and polyimide-based resins or one or more heat-resistant resins selected between aromatic aramid-based resins and the polyimide-based resins and 100 pts.wt. fluorine-based polymer. If an organopolysiloxane elastomer or fluoroelastomer is added to the aforementioned coating composition for the sliding parts, toughness and impact resistance are improved. |
