BLOCK COPOLYMER COMPOSITION WITH SHAPE MEMORY NATURE, ITS USE AND FORM WITH SHAPE MEMORY NATURE THEREFROM

PURPOSE:To provide the title composition good in the balance between shape memory nature and impact resistance, use thereof and form therefrom. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition with a shape recovery of 94% and Dynstat impact strength of 21.8kg.cm/cm comprising (I) as block copolymer component, 100 pts.wt. of triblock copolymer [(styrene/butadiene)weight ratio = 79:21] having structure: [polymer segment A; (polystyrene block)]-[polymer segment B; (styrene/butadiene random copolymer block)]-[polymer segment A; (polystyrene block)] and (II), as rubbery polymer segment, 30 pts.wt. of triblock copolymer [(styrene/butadiene)weight ratio = 40:60 and the glass transition temperature of polybutadiene block = -88 deg.C] having structure: [(polystyrene block)-(polybutadiene block)-(polystyrene block)].
