<p>A process for biologically purifying substances, in particular for decomposing substances such as waste water, fats and oils, is characterized by the fact that the substances are homogenized separately or together, if necessary with added water, into particles of 1 mu m or less in size, and that the homogenate thus obtained is fed through one or several filtering substances and if necessary added again to said substances.
