PURPOSE: To provide a drilling or chiseling device which is capable of excellently sucking cutting chips on one hand and guarantees excellent variable property and economical efficiency of a tool on the other hand. CONSTITUTION: This drilling or chiseling device 1 is provided with a suction device 2 coupled so as to released as a structural unit. This suction device 2 has a suction head 3, a suction pipe 4, a suction impeller 5 and a separating device 6. When the suction device 2 is coupled with the drill/chisel tool 1, a shaft 9 of the suction impeller 5 can be connected with a drive shaft 8 of a drive motor 7.
