In method for manufacturing electrode, the method is charactered by pre-treating aluminum foil by 12.6 wt.% NaOH solution added with 0.2-0.8 wt.% sodium silicate before etching it. In this method, when content of sodium silicate is at most 0.2 wt.%, the penetration of NaOH to aluminum metal becomes easy, and number of corrosion initiation point is not enough. When content of sodium silicate is at least 0.8 wt.%, the electrostatic capacity of aluminum decreases, and etching time becomes long. It has advantages of increasing electrostatic capacity of aluminum and etching efficiency.
