PURPOSE:To realize the image forming device able to print out as required a mode registration format sheet to register the image forming mode. CONSTITUTION:The device has an original scanning section 2 to read a mode registration format sheet (paper for special format), a control section 42 to implement registration or the like in the image forming mode, a ROM 42b storing the mode registration format data in advance and an image forming section 4 or the like. When the user starts the device without placing an original onto an original placing plate 2g or depresses a special format paper output key on an operation section 41, the image forming section 41 reads a data representing the mode registration format from the ROM 42b and prints out the mode registration format sheet used for the image forming device 1. Thus, the mode is set without preparation of the mode registration format sheet in advance. |
