Shell fish, pref. so-called Jacob shell fish are prevented from swimming away during the cultivation period, by clamping the shell (S) between fixed angled support (20) and movable clamp (21). Shell (S) is clamped in position with the ear (O) facing downwards. After drilling through the ear, a card or needle (N) is threaded through the hole. This enables large numbers to be retained during the cultivation period. |
