PURPOSE: To simultaneously grind a plurality of crankpin/journals by each separate abrasive belt by revolving a crankshaft by defining a center line of the longitudinal direction of the crankshaft itself as a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION: In order to grind a crankpin/journal 50 on an abrasive surface of an abrasive belt 96 during the revolution of a crankshaft C, the abrasive belt 96 is circulated along a route which is almost perpendicular to the crankshaft C. During the revolution of the crankshaft C, each abrasive belt 96 is guided, regardless of other abrasive belts 96, so as to continuously bring the abrasive belt 96 into contact with the crankpin/journal 50, changing the circulating route of the abrasive belt 96, by depending on which position around the center line of the longitudinal direction of the crankshaft C the crankpin/journal 50 is located. |
