PURPOSE: To provide the molding which requires a small necessary space and has uniform attenuation characteristics, can be formed of a single material in a single operation process, and absorbs an air transmitted sound. CONSTITUTION: A Helmholtz resonator of this molding is so arranged that Helmhortz resonators adjoining to a Helmholtz resonator with a low frequency have mutually different resonance frequencies and cover a surface directed to a sound source, the molding has a plate type sound absorber as the surface carrying the resonators, and this surrounds the Helmholtz resonators on a shape fitting basis; and the hole is made open and the material of the Helmholtz resonators absorbs a sound as well as the material of the plate type sound absorber. |
