PURPOSE: To preventing signatures from being damaged by separating a stream of the signatures to be fed from a folder of a web-fed rotary press making use of the electrostatic charge. CONSTITUTION: Signatures 11 treated by a folder are passed through electrostatic chargeable bars 16, 17, and fed into a gap 12 between a pair of diverter cylinders 1, 2. Electrostatically chargeable elements 3-10 are held on an outer surface of the diverter cylinders, the signatures are attracted by the electrostatically chargeable element of one diverter cylinder, removed from the diverter cylinder by peelers 18, 19, and guided by a guide element and fed to a paper discharge device. |
