PURPOSE:To miniaturize a body by sharing a blow-off outlet for cold and hot airs by constructing a title air conditioner such that air is supplied through a positive rotation air duct upon an blast fan being positively rotated and cold air is supplied form the blow-off outlet and such that air is supplied through a reverse rotation air duct upon the air fan being reversely rotated and is heated by a heater for supplying hot air. CONSTITUTION:With a cold air switch operated, a compressor is actuated with an electric motor being positively rotated, and with an indoor side blast fan 9 being positively rotated, and room air sucked in from a suction port 7 of a body 1 is cooled by an indoor side heat exchanger 8 and is fed from a blow- off outlet 6 through a positive rotation air duct 13 of an indoor side fan casing 10. Then, with a hot air switch actuated, the electric motor is reversely rotated and hence a ceramic heater 16 is supplied with electric power. Air sucked in from the suction port 7 owing to the reverse rotation of the electric motor passage through a reverse rotation air duct 14 and is heated by the ceramic heater 16 into hot air which is in turn fed from the blow-off outlet 6. Thereupon, a shutter 18 blocks the positive rotation air duct 13 with the aid of air pressure passing through the reverse rotation air duct 14. |
