PURPOSE:To prepare the title resin moldable at a low temp. and having a wide tolerance in molding conditions by compounding a specific styrene polymer with a specific graft polymer. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. comprises a styrene polymer consisting of structural units A, B, C, D, and E shown by formulas 1, II, III, IV, and V, respectively, the proportions of units A, B, and C being 20-70, 0.5-25 and 29.5-79.5mol% respectively (the sum of A+B+C being 100mol%) and the ratios of D/(A+B+C) and E/(A+B+C) being each 0.01-0.000005, and a graft polymer obtd. by grafting a copolymer consisting of 10-90wt.% arom. vinyl compd. units and 90-10wt.% methyl methacrylate units onto a rubber consisting of a polybutadiene or a butadiene copolymer contg. 60wt.% or higher butadiene units in a wt. ratio of the styrene polymer to the graft copolymer of (99.9: 0.1)-(50:50), a difference in the refractive index between the styrene polymer and the graft polymer being within + or -0.01. |
