PURPOSE:To attain the life detection with a simple construction at a low cost and to facilitate the exchange by providing a deterioration-deforming member capable of decomposing or deforming responding to the deterioration of the performance at the vicinity of an ozone removing member and detecting the deterioration of the performance of the ozone removing member by detecting the deformation. CONSTITUTION:The deterioration detecting device 18 consists of the decomposition- deformation member 20 provided at the vicinity of the ozone removing member 16 in the ozone removing device 11 and a detector 28 of a deformation detecting means provided at the lower place. The decomposition-deformation member 20 is arranged at the upper stream side of air flow 15 and is provided with a string-shaped elastic rubber member 21 stretched up and down. The rubber member 21 on which a movable piece 23 is always loaded as a weight is exposed to ozone in air 15 together with the ozone removing member 16, thus the rubber member is deteriorated and the elasticity is lost and finally cut, corresponding to the reduction in ozone removing performance of the ozone removing member 16 and the life limit. When the movable piece 23 falls and deformation occurs, the working piece 29 of the detector 28 is pressed downward and the detector 28 outputs a detection signal and lights at a display part. |
