摘要 PURPOSE:To stabilize color tone of printed matter by providing a means that computes the amount for correcting film thickness of supplied ink based on average printing area ratio by employing multiregression analysis, and a means that regulates the quantity of ink to be supplied. CONSTITUTION:In the case where average color density signals computed by an arithmetic unit 4 for the average color density are for material for printing for which control is to be made, the signals are sent to an arithmetic unit 7 for computing of color density difference with a switch 5 connected to B side. The difference between the average color density and the reference color density is computed with the arithmetic unit 7 for computing the color density difference. Signals for the computed color density difference are sent to an arithmetic unit 8 for computing the amount for correcting film thickness of supplied ink. Multiregression analysis is made with the arithmetic unit 8 for computing the amount for correcting the film thickness of the supplied ink for computation of the difference in the film thickness of the supplied ink. The signs obtained by the said computation are then reversed, and signals based on the reversed signs are sent to an ink supply quantity regulating (opening/shutting of ink key) device 10. Thereby color tone over the entire printing surface can automatically be agreed with the reference color tone within the limit of accuracy applicable to practical use.
