<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a paper feeding device for feeding paper sheets of at various thickness stably by changing the pushing force of a pick up roller to the thickness of the paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:A weight 19 as a pushing force adjusting means, which can move in the horizontal direction, is provided in a roll support member 11. This weight 19 is fitted to an end of a sliding member 20 arranged in the horizontal direction. The sliding member 20 is formed with a long groove 21 front the other end side to a nearly central part, and a pin 22 fixed to a roll support member 11 is projected inside of the long groove 21, while a fixing screw 23 is fitted from the opposite side of the roll support member 11. The sliding member 20 can be moved in the horizontal direction along the pin 22 and the fixing screw 23, and a distance L from the center of a rotary shaft 12 of the weight 19 is thereby adjusted to adjust the pushing force of a pick up roll 14 to the paper 26.</p> |
