The present invention concerns additional equipment for a cover system, such as a well cover, which cover system comprises a frame 13 which is fitted into the upper part of walls 11 forming the well space proper, or similar space 12, and a closed over-cover 14 fitted with at least one hole for a lifting hook 16 or similar use, which cover 14 being located on a shoulder 15 situated in frame 13, and which additional equipment comprises a closed additional cover 21 situated beneath the over-cover. In order to eliminate problems caused by leakage of water which can enter the well space through hole 16, the additional cover 21 is fitted with a suspension piece 22 by means of which it can be suspended on the shoulder 15 provided for the frame's 13 over-cover 14. <IMAGE>
