PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic tire for emergency use, with which a satisfact orily large frictional coefficient is obtained even on an icy/snowy road. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of straight grooves 4 are furnished in a tire stretching in its circumferential direction, and the tread pattern is such that a plurality of thypes 6 extending over the whole grounding width TW of tire are provided in the lateral direction. Each siping 6 has a depth D of 3-8mm, and their pitch P in the tire circumferential direction is 3-7mm. Each straight groove 4 is has a small width, and they are located in five equally divided positions of the tire grounding width TW. |
