A pin (4) is moved against a body carrying sensors of the monitoring system by electromagnets. A lifting coil (5) in the pin housing (2) moves the pin away from the body against a stop (21). An acceleration coil (b) accelerates the pin towards the body. The coils are connected to a control unit which determines the movement of the pin. The control unit is connected to contacts on the stop (21) and at the point of impact of the pin. The housing is sealed against the body by an integral impact plate which rests on the body and receives and transfer the pin impacts.
