Compsn. or concentrate, for preserving wood and wooden articles contain 0.001-25 wt.% 1-((2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl) -1,3-dioxolan-2-yl)methyl-1H-1,2,4- triazole (I); 0.3-30 wt.% at least one insecticidal carbamate (pref. 2-(isobutyl and/or isopropoxy) phenyl -N-methylcarbamate) and over 40 wt.% at least one of diluent, emulsifier, wetting agent, binder fixative opt. together with processing auxiliaries and additives, dyes and/or pigments. The binder and/or fixative, calc, as solids, is 0.1-40 esp. 1-18 wt.% and the binder can be partly replaced by a plasticiser. The wt. ratio binder/fixative: diluent (including opt. emulsifier and wetting agent) is 8.5:1-1:99.
