PURPOSE:To make free the change of usage of key and to make easy the addition of program, by giving the conversion table for keyboard signal to erasable ROM and RAM and converting the keyboard signal through the control of this conversion table. CONSTITUTION:When the cash key of the keyboard 120 is depressed, a key matrix scanning circuit 180 scans the keyboard 120 to detect the state of cash total key and the key code is stored in the key code register 181. When the CPU110 reads in the content of the register 181 with the circuit 180, the code is converted into the internal code of CPU110 based on the primary conversion table 171 in PROM170 and stores it to the key code memory 162. The CPU110 knows the cash total program address with this memory information via the secondary conversion table 172 and processing is executed according to the program. The process up to the secondary conversion is the same. The designated program is executed with the setting of conversion code of the ternary conversion table 161 in RAM160 and the designated address of biquadraric conversion table 173. |
