A flexible connection (3) is fashioned between a forward plug pin or contact socket (2) and a rearward termination (4) for the conductive tracks of the printed circuit. The device is stamped from e.g. brass or Cu strip, previously Ni-plated overall and subsequently coated in the contact areas with noble metal. It is rolled so that spring blades (9) constitute the socket (2), while thinner strips (11) of the metal are coiled into a helix for floating in a contact chamber. ADVANTAGE - A simple one-piece contact can be mass-produced cheaply without expensive stress-relief tools.
