PURPOSE: To provide an improved tablet composition of a medicinal agent or an active compound apt to be poor in tablet forming properties. CONSTITUTION: This tablet composition comprises a premix substantially consisting of 85-99.9wt.% active compound such as nadolol, atenolol, salbutamol, chlordiazepoxide, temazepam, diazepam or d-L-sotalol and 0.1-15wt.% citric acid, and one or more additives.
