PURPOSE:To enable a shock absorber to control damping force iwth an optimum timing so as to augment comfort in drive and ground performance by arranging a device ot compensate delay in actuatin while a variable shock absorber of damping force is adjusted to its higher damping force. CONSTITUTION:A control device carries a microcomputer with inpt and output ports, and memory systems such as CPU, RAM, and ROM. A detected speed signal DV from a speed detector 1 is directly transmitted to the input port. Simultaneously, detected deviation signals from each of deviation detectors 2a through 2d are also transmitted to the computer through both a multiplexer 32 and an AD converter 33. As signal procesing in the circuit of the deviation detectors 2a which provides information for controlling damping force, is delayed, and as the actuation of an electromagnetic solenoid 4a which is actuated by the control signal CS from the control unit 3 is also delayed, actuation of a change over timing allows fluid chambers to communicate one another with an optimum timing so that a shock absorber 6a accomplishes its controlling effect sufficiently. |
