PURPOSE:To extent an application range of welding and to improve workability by incorporating specific weight % of Al, Mn, Fe, Ni and Cu into a titled welding rod. CONSTITUTION:The copper alloy welding rod is composed of 9-10% Al, 10- 9% Mn, 2.0-3.5% Fe, 1.0-3.0% Ni and >=70% Cu. The high tensile strength and elongation of a weld zone are obtd., the variance of hardness is decreased and the condition of penetration is improved if welding is executed by using the welding rod composed in the above-mentioned manner. The welding rod is applicable to any of a TIG method, MIG method and arc welding method and since the rod is applicable to a cast iron, tool steel, etc. as well, the application range thereof is expanded. The condition of penetration is improved and the welding workability is improved. |
