PURPOSE:To prevent a machine operator from working under unhealthy conditions and make working time short by cutting the end tab of a UOE steel pipe by use of the cutting stone provided on a cart and performing bead grinding by use of the grindstone provided on a lift. CONSTITUTION:A lower cart 1 is moved until a cutting stone 15 is positioned at the end face of a steel pipe 35, and an upper cart 4 is moved until the center of a grindstone 22 and a bead height measuring device 25 are aligned to the center of a bead 37. After that, an end tab 36 is cut by the cutting stone 15, then, a cart 7 for grinding is moved until the grindstone 22 is positioned at a position separated from a pipe end face by a specified distance to lower the grindstone 22 and a terminal 31 to the bead 37 grinding the bead 37 by the grindstone 22 detecting the depth of cut by a sensor 33. Since this device can perform the cutting of the end tab 36 and the grinding of the bead 37 of the internal surface of the pipe in succession and in short time and also does not need hand, the operator can be free from working under unhealthy conditions. |
