PURPOSE:To enable the print of commodity print with the operation of designation of readout address only, by providing the print means which prints out the character image of commodity name on a label by taking the information of character image for one commodity name read out from the memory section as the input signal. CONSTITUTION:A plate 13 is picked up with an ITV12 in advance and a given address is set to the address set section, and the information of character image decomposed into video elements is sequentially written in based on the scanning lines of ITV12. When the character image written in is made for the print of commodity name, the specified address of the said character image is set to the address set section, the information of the character image written in the designated address is read out from the memory 10, and the said character image decomposed into video elements is reproduced on a CRT7 via a decoder 15 and an interface 16. When the unit price of the said character image is read out from the memory 11 and the print instruction is given, printing is made on the label with the printer 8. |
