PURPOSE:To offer a negative electrode of a good charge and discharge properties such as charge and discharge efficiency and a cycle life of a secondary battery. CONSTITUTION:A secondary battery is provided with a negative electrode and a positive electrode using lithium as an active material. The negative electrode is featured by a noncrystal vanadium pentoxide including lithium as a main component. The secondary battery improves in charge and discharge properties such as charge and discharge efficiency and a cycle life.
