PURPOSE: To provide a mechanical belt lock device capable of comparatively easily generating a large fastening force. CONSTITUTION: A belt lock device for a safety belt device having a fastening position is fixed by a lock pawl 70 so that it is suddenly opened in the end of the fastening movement. A release button 30 is captured in a housing by the lock pawl 70 before it reaches the end of the idling length. The drive of the lock pawl 70 is performed in the end of the fastening movement by an inertial force having a certain lever ratio in the center of gravity. |
