<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate a mounting work and to prevent marring of appearance of a ceiling by mounting a sensor between a pair of ceiling bars. CONSTITUTION:A pair of ceiling bars 1 in a T-shape in cross section are located in parallel with a given distance therebetween and a case 3 for a man detecting sensor A is placed on a horizontal piece 1a of the bar 1. In this case, when a part of a detecting unit 6 is only exposed from a space between the horizontal pieces 1a, the presence of a man can be detected by means of heat rays entering through a lens 8. A detecting signal therefrom is processed by a signal processing circuit and taken out from a case 3 to control an external device. As noted above, since the case 3 is only engaged between a pair of the bars 1 and there is no need to process a ceiling panel 2, a mounting work is simplified. Further, since a portion exposed from a ceiling surface is small, appearance of a ceiling is prevented from marring.</p> |
