PURPOSE: To provide an improved electric surgical equipment 10 for facilitating the cut of the internal mammary artery of a patient which is mounted during a coronary bypass operation and thereafter mounted again. CONSTITUTION: A knife has cut and coagulation control switches 22, 24 installed to a rigid pen-like handle member 12 and a bendable tubular extension member 30 protruded from a terminal part 16 thereof, and the base end part 14 of a blade 34 and an ultrasonic transducer are housed in the terminal part 16. The blade member 34 has a ceramic base 3 and a matallized pattern. Individual wires within a cable 18 for connecting an equipment to an electric surgical generator are extended to a blade holder 3 where the electric connection of electrodes 48, 50 on the blade 34 through a pen-like body part and the tubular extension member 30. The bendable extension member 38 is provided, whereby the angle of the blade 34 to the pen-like handle 12 can be regulated so as to be fitted to the access angle of a doctor to the opened chest wall. |
