PURPOSE:To prevent or reduce the deposition of toner on a separation pawl and improve picture quality by kneading a material which has thermal conductivity higher than a specific value such as graphite and aluminum with heat-resistant resin uniformly and forming this mixture in a specific shape. CONSTITUTION:The separation pawl 14 which separates fixing paper 9 from a fixing roller 12 is formed by kneading 50-95vol% heat-resistant resin and 5- 50vol% material with a 0.07cal/cm.sec. deg.C such as graphite and aluminum uniformly in a high-speed mixer, etc., and compressing, extruding, or injecting the mixture in a specific shape. Consequently, the heat conductivity of the separation pawl 14 is improved and the heat of sticking toner is absorbed speedily to eliminate or reduce the deposition of the toner on the separation pawl. Thus, an image defect due to the deposited toner is prevented. |
