TIRE HAVING AFTER-APPLICABLE SIDE WALL FOR DECORATION

PURPOSE: To mold a tire still more excellent in uniformity in low cost as compared with a case using a standard tire molding method by executing a method for producing a tire having a decorative applique on the white side wall thereof. CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing a pneumatic rubber tire having a decorative design on the side wall thereof, (a) a decorative design is adapted to the side wall of the cured tire and (b) the decorative design is bonded to the side wall of the cured tire under heating and pressure. The decorative design contains about 25-75 wt.% of a syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene with a m.p. of about 70-160 deg.C or an SPBD compd. and about 25-75 wt.% of at least one kind of polydiene rubber compounded with the above-mentioned syndiotactic 1,2- polybutadiene and at least one kind of a pigment or colorant, sulfur and zinc oxide.
