PURPOSE: To provide a ski binding simple, highly reliable and safe in use which has a structure capable of easily fixing a ski boot again without bending the upper body forward or directly operating a heel element by a hand even when the engagement is released for safety. CONSTITUTION: This ski binding has rear engaging members having jaws 204 to be engaged with the heels 205 of shoes. The rear engaging member is formed of a first body 202 slidably integrated into a base 206 assembled to a ski in fixed state. The first body has a first member 208 having a jaw, and this member is operated by the shoes, and can operate a second member having such a structure as to automatically reset a main fastener after safety release.
