On a base plate (3), which is attachable to a ski (S), of a ski binding (1), a slide (2), which supports the sole holder(s), is mounted displaceably in the longitudinal direction of the ski. For attaching the base plate (3), a fixed bearing (4) and a sliding bearing are provided. The sliding bearing is designed as a clamp (7) which holds the base plate (3) down on the longitudinal sides. In order no longer to use the base plate (3) for force transmission from the slide (2) to the ski (S), but at least to relieve it of forces and in order to be able to design the base plate (3) to be less strong, lateral overlaps of the clamp (7) are vertically removed from the base plate (3). The intermediate spaces thus formed are bridged by parts of the slide (2). A part of the slide (2) extends from the sliding bearing (clamp 7) to beyond the fixed bearing (screws 4) and, in the region of the latter bearing, engages under the base plate (3) on its longitudinal sides. �<IMAGE>� |
