PURPOSE:To obtain the sufficient performance with reference to an operation whose transfer rate is at a Gb/s band in a light-emitting element drive circuit used for an optical transmission apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A microstrip line 6 having a prescribed characteristic impedance is connected to the output terminal of a light-emitting element drive part 1 which pulse-drives a light-emitting element 2. A direct-current circuit which is composed of a terminating resistance 5 and a capacitor 8 and a DC bias circuit which is composed of an inductance 4 and a transistor 3 are connected to the other end of the microstrip line. Thereby, it is possible to improve the pulse response characteristic of the light-emitting element 2 without causing the shunt loss of a DC bias current. |
