发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER IMAGE-RECEIVING SHEET
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet with sufficient flexibility and adhesion and excellent solvent resistance by using a polyester film being 0.015-0.100 in the degree of surface orientation ( P) of the image- receiving layer and having the image-receiving layer composed of copolymer polyester with the rate of copolymerization of 5-30 mole % on at least one surface. CONSTITUTION:When the sum(hereinafter referred to as 'rate of copolymerization') of the mole percentage of the copolymeric component in the total dicarboxylic acid content constituting a copolymer polyester and the mole percentage of the copolymeric component in the total diol content exceeds 30 mole %, the rate of copolymerization is inappropriate because the strength of an obtained biaxial oriented film is inferior and the percentage of contraction becomes too large. On the other hand, when the rate of copolymerization is under 5 mole %, a transfer film using the obtained biaxial oriented film is aggravated in printing properties. Therefore, the rate of copolymerization is set to 5-30 mole %. The degree of surface orientation P of a polyester layer is required to be in the range of 0.015-0.100 from the viewpoint of printability and solvent resistance.
